Nebulizer

Home / Nebulizer
details

A nebulizer is a medical device used to administer medication in the form of a mist or aerosol to the lungs. It is commonly used to treat respiratory conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other lung diseases. Nebulizers work by converting liquid medication into a fine mist that can be inhaled through a mask or mouthpiece. This allows the medication to reach the airways and lungs directly, providing quick relief and improved breathing for individuals with respiratory issues.

Wash hands thoroughly before handling the nebulizer and medication.

Place the prescribed amount of medication in the medication cup of the nebulizer.

Attach the mouthpiece or mask securely to the nebulizer.

Connect one end of the tubing to the nebulizer and the other end to the compressor. Sit in an upright position and breathe normally.

Turn on the nebulizer and inhale the medication slowly and deeply until the mist is completely gone.

Continue breathing normally until all the medication is inhaled.

Clean the nebulizer and all its parts according to the manufacturer's instructions.
